In the past year, when appeared the first rumors about the fact that NXP will leave the alliance Of crolles2, was assumed that to it for the change will arrive the corporation IBM. However, today as source reports, IBM declared about the fact that it was not intended to enter in the alliance.

Crolles2 was created in 2000 by companies sTMicroelectronics and Philips semiconductors (now NXP). In two years to two European companies was joined North American â€“ freescale joined the alliance with the purpose to collaborate in the region of development and industrialization of [KMOP]- technological processes, beginning from the standards 90 nm to the standards 32 nm.

However, NXP decided not to prolong collaboration from Crolles2 at the end of the period of the action for the current agreement (prior to the end of 2007).
