The company allied telesis declared about the beginning of deliveries for the new optical net device (Optical networking unit, ONU) AT -ON1000, which ensures the transformation of signals in the networks GEPON (passive optical networks on the basis of technology gigabit ethernet). Device AT -ON1000 is calculated for the capacity of upload and download channels to 1 Gbit/s, which makes possible to ensure the work of applications with large data transmission volume (for example, video conferences), and to also bring users the service triple play new generation on the basis of infrastructure (Fiber-to-the-home, FTTH).
AT -ON1000 corresponds to the standards IEEE 802.3ah for the technology (Ethernet first mile, EFM) and can work with wide collection of the equipment from other producers. Furthermore, due to the support of client interface 10/100/1000T, AT -ON1000 can be easily connected to the majority of main user systems.
Device has the compact form factor (the same as in another media convertor allied telesis). Clients, who use the integrated platform multi service access allied telesis iMAP (integrated multi-Access platform), can use AT -ON1000 simultaneously with the appropriate two-channel interface module GEPON (AT -TN118), which ensure the support of 32 subscribers for each port PON (only 64 subscribers).
New media converter is equipped with optical interface PX20, which provide a connection between the operator point and terminal device at a distance to 20 km along one fiber-optic channel. AT -ON1000 support several virtual local networks (VLAN) with separate setting and maintenance level (SLA), AT -ON1000 is suitable for developing under difficult conditions networks triple play, which require different approaches to the transmission of different data types .
Control of AT -ON1000 is accomplished with the aid of NMS (net control) alliedView. AlliedView ensures several levels of security, protecting AT -ON1000 and other devices allied telesis from penetration without operators agreement.
