The scientists research center g. Hellas (Greece) will test the system, which will be able to identify man on his electroencephalogram (EEG). As consider the developers of device, (Dimitrios tzovaras) and its associate, new biometric system in the future will get its place there, where is necessary superhigh level security. In their opinion, there are no two people, whose EEG would be identical.
The procedure of creation EEG passport is sufficiently complex: to the head of man is put on the helmet with the sensors (them less than in the instrument, utilized by physicians), then it it is passed several tests, in the course of each of which is removed its imprint EEG. It must sit with the closed eyes and not talk during the entire procedure , which is necessary for obtaining the clearer results.
The intelligible matter, that it is, for example, from fingerprint in the difference, the indices of cerebral activity at any moment of time differ. Therefore during the authorization of user comparison EEG with data recorded previously is produced with the use of the special algorithms, which can be disposed to different levels security.
In this year the scientists plan to install their development as the system security for certain laboratory in Germany. The now scientists Warsaw technological university in Poland work at the analogous project. At the current stage their biometric system works with accuracy 88%.
As far as practical application is concerned, is sufficiently complicated to visualize the procedure of the removal EEG before, for example, to enter into the building, or to be authorized in the computer system.
