To the release of processors new architecture AMD k10 (the first of which will become servers barcelona) still several months, company already conducts intense works on the following generation of its chips. Let us recall, K10 will bring support to new system bus hyperTransport 3.0, divided between processor cores cache L3 and the new processor coupling socket AM2+, theoretically conversely consistent with the present Socket AM2. At the same time new processors will be produced with the utilization not so long ago familiar AMD 65- nm technological process. Finally, the most available of the developed by 45- nm processors AMD will have the code name sargas. These are single core processors, which will have AM3 and support to DDR3.
