The release of chipset NVIDIA nForce 680i collects revolutions. During only last two months OCZ technology noted the production of active air and liquid cooling systems. On the turn, it is logical to assume, thermal tubes. Although, some producers teach to reach record frequencies for the memory with those cooled by usual passive radiators.
On CES 2007 behind the closed doors took place the demonstration of new cooling system of memory module company OCZ technology was showin. According to the report of the site
dailyTech, the company developed and soon prepared to announce heat transfer system for DRAM on the base of thermal tube:
Flexpipe - memory with cooling on thermal tubes. OCZ … cools!
The principle of work system is obvious. Built-in the basic radiator on the memory module with thermal tube removes heat- into the raised approximately to one centimeter additional radiator. Clearance between the basic and extension radiators is sufficient both for the free air flow between them and for averting the action of the scattered by additional radiator heat on the radiator module. Moreover, the proposed BY OCZ system is not in any way bulky and will make possible without the interferences to arrange memory module with it in the adjacent slots on the motherboard.
The anoncement Flexpipe (code name of new development OCZ) takes place during February. Company will dedicate entire January to the comprehensive testing of system. As a result Flexpipe must not be on the effectiveness considerably inferior to the water-block flexXLC, but it promises to be in this case noticeably cheaper.
