The production of company SMART modular technologies repeatedly became the theme of our news, since in the assortment of this producer interesting product regularly appear. It suffices to recall the represented recently buffered VLP- modules memory with the liquid cooling or 4- Gb memory module for supers-computer. To this times the company declared about the release of the first in the branch 4- Gb, 244- contact modules DDR2 PC 2-4200 Mini-Registered DIMM (RDIMM), in which were used the technologies coolFlex and Dual die  package (DDP). New product are intended for those situations, when the need for the large volume of memory is nearby with the hard constraints on the overall sizes. In particular, the modules mini-Registered DIMM are oriented to use in servers, the depositories of data, the equipment of networks, the means of tele-communication. The height of modules is 30 mm. logical organization ( 512Mx72 ) provides for the release of modules on the base of  DDP (256Mx4) or BGA- chips (256Mx4 DDR2 SDRAM). Accordingly, it is accessible two modifications: SG572124AG8RDDG and SG572124AG8R6DG. Let us recall, technology DDP is used also in other modules SMART module coolFlex DDR2 2GB VLP RDIMM, and in the family small modules enter models SO-RDIMM, SO-CDIMM, Mini-RDIMM and VLP Of mini-RDIMM, represented last fall.
