Attempting to maximally open the potential of chip RV570, AMD is intended to release soon one more video card on its basis. at present this processor, I will resemble to that already used into Radeon x1950 pro. Radeon x1950 GT New model will be called Radeon x1950 GT and will possess somewhat smaller performance in comparison with the Pro- version. Amd will not reduce the functionality of processor to decrease the performance of video card: this will be achieved by decrease in the operating frequencies. However the number of pipeline will remain unchanged: 36 shader and 8 vertex processors, on 12 modules of textures (TMU) and blocks  (ROP). The frequency of this new card will be lowered from 575/1380 MHz to 500/1200 MHz. Taking into account that up to the present moment in the company they for sure already worked rather well in the production of chips on 80 nm technical process, serious problems with the overclock of this solution must not fellow. .
