The patented digital architecture Of si472x made possible to combine the functionality of the Fm- receiver si470x and Fm- transmitter si471x in one case under sizes of 3 X 3 X 0,55 mm. according to the data of company, the existing solutions are included, at least, two microcircuits and more than 50 external elements; therefore they occupy approximately five times more than place on the printed-circuit board. Because of diminutiveness, Si472x excellently is suitable for portable applications, including, cell phones, universal players, gaming consoles and navigators.
On the layout microcircuit Of si472x compatible with AM/Fm- receiver si473x, Fm- receiver si470x and Fm- transmitter si471x, which gives the possibility to use a united design of printed-circuit board.
