Matrox Company updated its Remote graphics unit,( RGU ) extio by new model - F1220. Ne product makes possible to make connection with case  up to the distance of 250 m from displays, keyboards, mouse and other outlying devices. F1220, as other models series extio, is connected to the case with the instaled adapter of expansion . Adapter with the interface PCI (XTOA-FP33LPAF) or PCI express x1 (XTOA-FELPAF) is sold separately from RGU. New product is equipped with four interfaces for the connection of displays (2 x DVI, 2 x D -Sub 15), by two ports IEEE 1394 and by six USB 2.0. Maximum resolution for each of the monitors is 1920 x of 1200 pixels. The built-in sound map has microphonic in, analog in digital optical out. Extio f1220 uses passive cooling, and taking in account the fact that the case is located far, user it will not distract noise of fans. Matrox orients this and other  plotting units toward the application in many spheres, including CAD and systems of the guarantee observation.
